A conference on the topic ‘Current concepts of infections in Orthopedics’ was organized at RRMCH. At this knowledge sharing event the adverse effects due to infections were discussed at large by the stalwarts in the field with a clear focus on the current concepts. Over 140 participants from various institutions across Karnataka registered for the conference. The conference included insightful talks and presentations from faculty and delegates on assessment of surgical site infections, trends in development of antibiotics and biofilm formation, to name a few.
